Serving the Servants of Lackey Clinic
When Tim and I started this power washing business, we promised that we would use it to serve others and be good stewards of our finances. However this blog is about an organization that has dedicated its entire existence to others.
We live just a short distance from Lackey Clinic (a free and charitable healthcare center), and have had connections to them for several reasons over the years. The practice was started by Jim and Cooka Shaw in 1995, with the mission to provide skilled, compassionate health care and counseling to the medically disadvantaged in a manner that honors the name of Jesus Christ. As a result the staff and volunteers are dedicated to their patients by providing free and low-cost health care with services such as:
•Family Medicine
• Lab and Dental X-ray Services
• Pharmaceutical Services
• Spiritual Counseling
• Dental Services
• Mental Health Services
More than a building...
Recently we had the pleasure of giving their building a face lift. But this meant so much more than just a soft wash on vinyl siding.
This is a building that...
Has served the uninsured and underinsured for over 20 years.
Serves over 1,500 patients from York County, Williamsburg, Poquoson, James City and Newport News.
Was built on perseverance and faith.
This is a building and an organization that has earned the support and care of the community and we were honored to serve them. Check out their website to learn more and maybe how you can partner with them.
